14U Stingers, 2019-2020 (Stratford Volleyball Club)

The Stratford Stingers’ 14U team won a silver medal on Saturday at the 15U OVA Trillium tournament.  The Stingers lost an exciting back and forth gold medal match versus a scrappy Cambridge Scorpions team in three sets.

The Stratford Stingers 14U team competed in Windsor this past weekend in their first OVA tournament of the year. Winning bronze medal against St Thomas, after losing a hard fought semi-final battle against the eventual champions the London Sharks in the third game 16-14.Lauren McKay, Emily Hall, Kylie Jones and Ashlyn Witt served tough to keep the opponents off their game. Kiara Michiels, Ella Van Bakel, Heidi Thomas and Ella Farrell passed strong to help the team run the offense. Congrats to all the athletes selected for the 2019/2020 14U Stingers!! Practices will go every Tuesday starting Sept 24th from 6-8pm at St Mikes.  This will happen till the Agriplex becomes available after Thanksgiving.  Regular practice times will be on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6-8pm throughout the year.
