The Stratford Stingers 14U team competed in Windsor this past weekend in their first OVA tournament of the year. Winning bronze medal against St Thomas, after losing a hard fought semi-final battle against the eventual champions the London Sharks in the third game 16-14.Lauren McKay, Emily Hall, Kylie Jones and Ashlyn Witt served tough to keep the opponents off their game. Kiara Michiels, Ella Van Bakel, Heidi Thomas and Ella Farrell passed strong to help the team run the offense. Mia McCabe, Autumn Mikel, Sophie Thomas and Ava McMillan hit the ball well to score multiple points.The 14U Stingers are back in action in Stratford on Saturday, December 7th as they host the 15U OVA tournament.
