Note: This year will be different and full of uncertainties and changes. Please have patience. We have decided not to charge for tryouts this year. We will not be forming a team at every age group so it is possible that your child may be informed that there will be no team at his/her age group. This will depend on tryout numbers, gym space availability, and coaching availability. Specifically on the boys side it is probable that we will only be offering an 18U team and one or possibly two teams in the 12U-17U age ranges. Tryout times may change so please stay posted.
How to register for Tryouts?
Please also be aware that all athletes wishing to attend tryouts will need to do the following. There are a few extra steps to complete as we navigate the pandemic protocols.
1) Register with SVC REGISTRATION LINK - make us aware of your intentions to tryout for
a competitive team.
2) Register on the new OVA Membership Registration Service (MRS) opening on Sept.
14th. More info on this will be forthcoming.
3) Complete a health screening questionnaire every time before coming to the Agriplex.
More Info on this to come.
4) Athletes will not be allowed to enter the Agriplex until the time of their scheduled tryout
and will need to bring a mask, a filled water bottle and a zip lock bag for items
of hygiene. Proof of completion of their health screening questionnaire will
also be required (more to come on this). A complimentary hand sanitizer will be
given to those attending tryouts, one per player.
Club Fees
Given the special circumstances this year we will be charging a non refundable fee after tryouts are complete to cover our costs for the months of October and November. There will be subsequent fees due in late November or early January depending on the pandemic situation. Overall, fees will be less than in previous years due to pandemic related scheduling changes including the cancellation of all competitive tournament competition until at least January 1st, 2021. More information on fees will be posted later this month.
SVC Parent/Athlete ZOOM Meeting
The club has tentatively planned a ZOOM meeting for Wednesday Sept. 16th at 7pm.
