Youth Beach Volleyball Training and Play

Sponsored and supported by the Stratford Volleyball Club, the outdoor beach volleyball training and play is offered from mid-May until end of August each season. Youth beach volleyball is for participants 10 - 18 years of age. Participants will apply their training and skills to game play each evening. Age exceptions can be made based on ability.

Divisions

Beginner: 10 - 16 years of age, 0-2 years of indoor or beach volleyball experience, and can control a volleyball with forearm pass and volley.

Intermediate: 10 - 16 years of age, 3-4 years of indoor or beach volleyball play experience.

Advanced:
18 years of age and under, have 5-6 years of volleyball play experience indoors or on the beach, and may have a desire to compete in OVA Beach Satellite tournaments. Each week participants will focus on a particular skill (i.e.: passing, setting, attacking, defense, serve receive, serving, tactics and game play).

Date
Tuesday evenings May 22 - July 24, 2018 - Instruction and league play.

Time

6:00 - 7:00pm (Beginner/Intermediate) and 7:00 - 8:30pm (Advanced)

Location

Stratford Education Recreation Complex (S.E.R.C.).
