14U Stingers Win Silver!!! Bugarski Cup - Championship A
The 14U Stingers won the Silver Medal at the Bugarski Cup, Championship division, on Feb 25th, 2017! The 14U Stingers demonstrated outstanding perseverance Saturday. After finishing 3rd in a very tough pool, the Stingers turned their fortunes by winning three consecutive matches in the afternoon against the Brant YVC, Cambridge Scorpions and then the Chatham Ballhawks in the semi-finals. The gold medal match featured a very strong Georgetown Impact team against the 14U Stingers. The Stingers fought hard extending the match to three sets, however Georgetown was too strong and the Stingers had to settle for the Silver medal. Stratford's excellent result was achieved through a positive mindset and mental toughness. Congratulations Stingers!!
