First Tournament Results
The 14U Girls played their first tournament last weekend!
It was a great experience as we were able to put into live matches a new offence, two new defences, and full time serving (no more Triple Ball!!).
We performed quite well with a fast start, winning our first two matches and winning our pool. The afternoon we lost our first match 23-25, 25-27, and then our second match for Fifth we also lost to the home team 25-15, 20-25, 15-10.
Our Passing and Serving were excellent for the first tournament of the year, and we learned that our opponent's serves from some girls at this level come hard and fast! We are eager to get our adjustments in place and test our skills next tournament!
